These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of D.A.I.O. HomeFinance ("Service"), operated by D.A.I.O. HomeFinance ("we," "us," or "our") at https://daiofinances.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms

D.A.I.O. HomeFinance is a household budget and personal finance management application that provides tools for:

- Monitoring debt paydown progress and credit utilization
- Connecting financial accounts via Plaid for automated data sync
- Generating AI-powered financial insights and recommendations
- Scheduling and recording bill payments
Important: D.A.I.O. HomeFinance is a financial management tool, not a financial advisor. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making significant financial decisions.
3. Subscription & Payment
D.A.I.O. HomeFinance is offered as a subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fees as displayed at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at signup
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
4. User Accounts & Household Members
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Not share your account credentials with anyone outside your household
- Use the Service only for your own personal household financial management
- Not use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
Household member features are intended for members of the same household. You are responsible for ensuring that any household members added to your account agree to these Terms.
5. Financial Account Connections (Plaid)
When you connect financial accounts through Plaid, you authorize D.A.I.O. HomeFinance to retrieve and display your financial data for the purpose of providing the Service. You represent and warrant that:
- You are the authorized owner or user of any financial account you connect
- You have the right to grant us access to that account's data
- You will comply with the terms of your financial institution regarding third-party access
You may disconnect any linked account at any time. We are not responsible for any fees, penalties, or consequences imposed by your financial institution as a result of connecting your account to our Service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
- Transmit any malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent

No Financial Advice: The Service provides financial management tools and AI-generated insights for informational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
Data Accuracy: We strive to display accurate financial data but cannot guarantee the accuracy of data received from third-party sources including Plaid and your financial institutions. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your financial information.
Service Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, D.A.I.O. HomeFinance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on information provided by the Service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment of subscription fees, or any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which D.A.I.O. HomeFinance operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
